My 2012 Gator 825i has some issues .. seems like its fuel system isnt staying primed ..Starts after lots of cranking from the starter then idles almost to the point of dying but dosent , then with a tap or two of the throttle it regains normal idle. Also , It takes forever to start even after its been running .. Im a cattle man and sometimes I NEED to jump in it and GO ..but it cranks and cranks then its alive and runs great . Anyone else having these issues ?

Heater hookup locations for OEM?

I'm looking to install my own non-JD heater on an '07 620i XUV. I'd rather not splice into the 1" radiator hoses as the heat would be limited in this cold climate (Alaska) and would like to pull from the same location the JD-branded heater does, somewhere in the engine compartment. However, I've yet to find a set of installation instructions to see exactly where the intake and return lines are attached back on the engine and you can imagine how much help the dealer is. It looks like the OEM has a pair of 5/8" heater hoses that run to the engine compartment and likely splice in upstream from the thermostat housing. Does anyone have the directions, or, happen to know what the recommended connections are there? There's a special fitting noted as well, though I'm not sure where that fits in. Thanks in advance for any help!

So, I had some clutch problems as outlined below, was gonna do the work myself and order up some parts. Thought "what the hell" I'll call up TEAM cause they manufacture the clutch and order the parts. Wrong answer!! They still make the clutches but can't sell or service the clutches because of an agreement with Deere. What a bunch of BS!!! This is a good machine, the aftermarket is extremely lacking though! This was about the last straw for me!

Been seeing that everyone is painting there hoods blitz black to get the midnight edition look. Just wanted to share what I did that was a little different. Painted my hood gloss black with a silver stripe along the scoop body lines matches the rims and seats pretty well. Then topped it off with homemade aluminum door inserts, and tinted my oem windows. thanks for looking.

New here having issue 855D with plow

Hey guys, new to the site. Hopeing for some help. At my job we have a fleet of JD toys. Our 855D we got about a year ago with the cab, lights, nice stainless spreader, lift for the bed, heater and some
Other stuff. It came with a power tech plow that's been nothing but trouble. After a few uses the hydraulic pump went and the dealer replaced it. But if we use it to plow the lights all dim out while controlling the blade and then it will just die altogether. I asked the dealer of with the accessories maybe we needed a bigger alternator or battery, but they said the diesel already had a larger alternator which I dknt Beleive to be true. It seems to be a definite electrical issue in my opinion. Possibly
Bad wiring? Anyone have any idea would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

It doesn't matter if i'm going slow or flying down a road its always running hot. Is that normal? is there a way to over ride the fan? Any help is greatly appreciate it! my second issue is that when its warmed up to operating temps it doesn't want to shift into high, I have to shut it off to shift it. Is there any adjustments for that? I'm still getting used to this thing so is there something 'im not doing or doing something wrong? thank you in advance!

Gator HPX problem

Hello

This is my first post having recently acquired a 2007 Gator HPX 4x4, we have been using it for a couple of weeks and it's become evident that something is rattling around the trans axle area I suspect the clutch arrangement, are these prone to being noisy ?

It also jumps out of gear but only when loaded with 2 people, is this likely to be gearbox fault or adjustment, I suspect this is why it was sold !!!!!!

Any thoughts appreciated

Malcolm

Rear red and clear lense lights - each side

$

I have a 2011 625i.
The lights rocker switch on the dash board has 2 positions.
1 position for the rear red running lights to turn on.
The 2nd position is for the headlights to come on with
the rear red running lights.
There is also a clear panel underneath each red rear
light plastic panel.
There are 2 bulbs behind each of these more or less
clear lenses each side.
1 bulb is clear in color and the 2nd bulb has a brown tint to it.
How do I turn these lights on?
They don't seem to work while in reverse....unless this circuit
is broken?

Help.

Binding in reverse

Looking for some feedback on something.
You know the sensation when in 4X4 and have the diff lever pulled up into the lock position and you try to turn going forward or backward? It jumps, squirms:eek:.
I.E driveline wrap up.
Today my (825I p/s) started to feel like that, only when backing up. The diff lock lever is down. If I switch to 2wd it steers fine.
I may also be hearing things, but it sounds like gears may be binding in reverse in 4X4 mode. Again no diff lock. But I may be more sensitive to noises because of the way it feels.

Anyone hear or feel this? Everything else acts normal.
I bought it new three months ago, it has 16 hours on it. I use it around the house only. I have a Boss 6' straight blade and plow my driveway.

Thanks for any help or ideas.

First Outing in the snow

Hey Guys, I had my 850i sport out a couple weekends ago for the first trip to the camp in the winter. I bought it in Oct 2014 and have worked at it from then until 3 weeks ago to get ready. It'll be used mainly for getting in and out of the camp. its a 2 hour snowshoe trek or 15 min ride in. We plan to use the camp a lot in the winter so this is the route I took. There is approx. 2 feet of snow in the first 2 pics. The last pic is in a chopping we use for moose hunting. My buddy's mini truck on tracks is a cool rig. Both rigs have tracks from grizzly's we fab'ed up brackets to fit. Ill post more pics as winter progresses. Since the last trip up we've gotten 45cm plus another 50cm. should be fun.

825i headlights

So, opening weekend of duck season, I had my gator out hauling people to the pit blind. Running in 6 - 8in flooded rice field, I assume a mud clod built up on a tire, and broke off a headlight. It left the bulb in the light dome. Then fot filled up with mud and water. I have tried to flush this out, even had to drill a small hole in the bottom of the lens to let the water out. But it just isn't working. And now, somehow the other light has gotten water in it.

I think I want to just replace them both, but can't find part numbers / exploded views of the area.
Any help would be appreciated.

Home-Built Snow Plow for 850i

Used it first time yesterday, worked pretty well! Steel stock and fasteners from TSC, spare trailer hitch, exterior-grade 2x8's from Home Depot, uses winch to raise and lower. Maybe I'll add angling, not sure. Hopefully the front-end trim pieces will go back on w/o interference.

850i Elevation problem

$

Live at elevation of 4191 and the machine runs no problem. However, I took it to the mountains and at the cabin it would run great but when we took off up the mountain about half way up I started having problems. The machine would load up, back fire, started over heating. I would get to a spot of steep incline and it would not have the power to take off and get up. The only way I made it up was going slow and "limping" it along. The trip back down was cake but I was not expecting the problem with this machine. I want to be able to take it to the mountains and not have this problem. Second question would be is there a chip to eliminate the top speed on these machines?

RSX850i: Modifying Rear Axle to Install Differential & Half-Shafts

Hello,

Searched these fora and have not seen a thread related to my q:

Has anyone successfully modified the rear axle assembly in their 850i to install an actual differential? Would also require replacing the solid axle with a couple of CV-equipped half-shafts. Or did you you custom fit/engineer in a non-Deere-but-similarly-sized diff-equipped axle assembly, and were able to maintain on or about the same joint angles? Keenly interested if you have, thanks!
