New Owner Wannabe - Questions

Greetings Gator Folks,

I'm planning on purchasing a Gator 825i for work and play. Work around the farm and play on trails on our land and the state forest, if permitted

I have a question. I live in Minnesota, I'm thinking about buying an 825i with the full glass Deluxe cab. With snow everywhere and working up a sweat, how do you keep the whole interior from frosting over? I've seen the little heater but can't believe it can keep all that glass from frosting or fogging over. Any experienced advice?

620i and 6x4 parking brake adjustment

We have some JD gator 620i and 6x4 gators where I work. The parking brakes need to be adjusted as they will no longer hold.
Can someone here please describe how to adjust the parking brake on these units.

I was just reading the forum here witch by the way made my decision to buy a 825i gator. I wanted to comment on the the wetsounds Bluetooth sound bar I just put on my gator. To tell u folks if your interested in a quality product with good looks and space Saving this system rocks.

Hello there, Im new the forum and had a couple quick questions about the aftermarket exhaust and fuel programmers. weather it be the muzzy or the big gun dual exhaust was just looking for someone who has made this upgrade and was wondering what the power gains actually turned out being? Just trying to find some reviews before spending $1300. Thanks

I bought a new 825i last year and only have 276 miles on it!! my question is has anyone re-routed the air intake from the floorboard up to the pipe behind the passenger seat? My second question is this has anyone found an aftermarket stereo mount anywhere that is worth the $$$$$

maintance questions

so how are you guys getting silicone around trans dip stick and what is it called. cuz electriacal tape didnt keep all the dust out i unwrapped it and saw some dust particles in it. so second question how are you guys with the snorkels sealing your air filter boxes im just looking at mine and its just blowing me away. Last but not the least what kind of bottle are you putting your dif fluid in to fill your diffs up

2012 XUV 550 Parking Brake Adjustment

Can someone help me out on how to adjust the parking brake on my 2012 550?

I've seen some post that say it's under the seat....but I haven't been able to find it.

There does appear to be an adjustment screw under the front cargo box however it seems I'm going to have to take several thing loose to get to it. Is this where I should be adjusting the cable tension?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RSX center Console

Hey guys been playing around alittle with the cab of my RSX. I started with the floor console from a 625 gator and I then shortened it and trimmed it to fit were I wanted then used some small L brakets for mounting then used some 1/16 thick plastic sheeting to close in the console down to the floor. Just thought some might find this interesting made it much more comforting inside the cab knowing your legs were not going to flop around freelie anymore. Let me no what you think trying to attach pictures hope it works.

XUV 550 hard shifting

My 550 has 41 hours on it and has been back to JD for shifting problems. JD did a fine job, put the new clutch kit in it. It was fine for the next 30 hours, now it is really, really hard to shift. I have to shut it off to get it from F to R or back from R to F. I have it stripped down to the bare clutches and belt. It now shifts fine. Am I wrong that the belt should not be turning the tranny when it's in neutral? I have mechanical experience and I love the 550. I am going to FIX this thing and anything I find along the way I will post. Thanks to all who help in advance. Jim

New old 6X4 diesal

I rebuilt the yanmar that had a spun bearing and it is starting to fail again! I was wondering what year the Woo6x4d037044 is? This engine had givin me nothing but trouble I'm not sure if I should replace the crank shaft or the hole engine? I'm looking for a good used crank shaft for the #3007D003 if any body can help me? Or a good complete engine?? Thank you for any help with the year and parts.. Drew
