Hey guys was going through the gator attachment book this morning. Its raining here so i have time to look and dream about what is next on my gator. Deere now makes a front rack for the 550 and 850i Part number is BM23360 List Price is $248.24. It mounts to Brush guard BM23365 which is the stock brush guard for the 550. From what im getting the frame it the same for the 550 and the RSX. Just thought id share it for people that have been looking this and have not yet found it.

RSX wheel spacers.
Quick question for anyone that has installed wheel spacers on there RSX. Was wondering if you can just get any 4/137 wheel spacer because i cant seem to find any that say that they will exactly fit on an RSX. Everyone advertising them fitting on a Can AM commander and also advertise for front and rear on the can ams... was just wondering if i need to diffrent ones also or if there all the same. Any help is greatly appritated thanks.

New to this forum. Had several gators over the years. 4x2's, 620i and an 825i. Currently waiting on my Midnight 825i to arrive. Supposed to be in on the 26th per dealer. Anybody actually seen one in person? All I can find on the net is promo photos.

New Gator 825 with Options.
So, I'm looking for a new SxS and have about decided on a JD 825. I was just thinking of the base model with a front bumper. But my local dealer doesn't have a base model.
What they do have is a camo one with EPS, heavy duty front bumper and basket, rear bumper, solid doors, roof, mag wheels, some kind of extra dump bed which I did'nt understand, and a rear window mesh liner. Also had some kind of pipe guards around the dump bed.
I'm trying to compare his asking price to the price of a base model. Any ideas on what the options are worth if I bought them all new?? The dealer got this one for some kind of event like John Deere Days or something, so he did'nt have a clue what it was all worth either except to say "a lot".
Also, if I don't get this one, will I regret not getting the EPS?? Also, are the solid doors a must have if I'm not gonna inclose the cab??

Are the Doors option a must have?? Or if I have them, will I soon remove them?? Are they easily kept adjusted where they close easily??

I live and work in South Florida and it is hot.... everyday except the days

we have 5 ... 2012 4x2 GATOR CS models
and 5 ....2012 4x2 GATOR TS models
BOTH MODELS ////// ALL 10 VEHICLES !!!!!!!! WILL at least once or twice a day will stall ....after running 3/4 to full speed for 3-4 minutes then slow / idle ...... for 2-3 minutes
New Clean fuel filter is empty
CRANK CRANK CRANK AND NOTHING !!!!!!!
pour a few ounces of water on FUEL filter / pump gas condensates
Wait 15 seconds turn the key
ZOOOOM and away you go
can not leave garage without at least 1/4 bottle of water or some other fluids
I've replaced the fuel pump .......... NG
I've replaced and re routed fuel line and filter ...... NG
AND I'VE EVEN DRILLED 2 TWO INCH HOLES IN ONE
under passenger seat to increase air flow to try and cool area
( engine compartment )
I've EVEN drilled two 1/4 inch holes in the bed right above FUEL pump and filter ......pour some water.... it works the best
laugh if you want..... I do every time !!!!!!!!!!
BUT I don't even have to lift the bed....
please any advice will help.....

Early SN diesel 6x4 cut off solenoid burning up
I have an early serial number (in the 3000s) diesel 6x4. The diesel cutoff solenoid keeps getting hot and burning up. I have replaced the K2 relay that runs to the solenoid, the glow plug module, and the ignition switch that was corroded. It cranks and runs fine, but if you turn the key to the ON position without cranking it, the solenoid gets hot and eventually explodes or burns up. I have replaced 3 solenoids now trying to get this fixed.
Any ideas?

6X4 diesel cooling fan - no voltage
Hi folks, I'm pulling my hair out over the cooling fan in my 2004 6X4 diesel Gator. There's no voltage to the red wire that connects to the fan. I replaced the relay with a used one but still no power to the red wire where it connects to the fan. There is voltage on two of the four wires at the relay.
Can someone offer any advice? Can I test the relay?

Big gun dual exhaust
I just installed this exhaust Thursday and I love the look and the sound but it is a little loud. I have the quiet inserts in but they don't do much. Was wondering if anyone had a trick to tone them down a little more

Cracked 825i roofs
Curious to know if anyone out there has had trouble with their roof on a 2011 825i developing cracks where it mounts to the front roll bar? Both sides have cracked in the shape of the molded indentions. I purchased the extended warranty, but John Deere refuses to cover it. There is no damage to my roof, so just wondering if any ideas on this.

2005 6x4 TH front spindle (wheel) screw
My parts manual says part: "19M7793" and remarks: "M16 X 40".
I am sure it is metric.
Just too small for a 15/16 but much bigger than 19mm.
Anyone know what size socket or wrench I need for this bolt head?

Seat Covers
What are the recommended heavy duty seat covers for the 825I sport seats? Obviously, I'm concerned w/ the front but I'm also concerned w/ the back of the seat protection. I'm worried 1 of these days I'm going to put a branch, sharp log ect thru the back of the seat. Thanks

2011 625i runs bad especially when eng in hot
I installed new spark plugs, fuel filter and air filter. It will run great for about 5-10 minutes then it chugs and back fires. Looses power and barely wants to idle. Let it cool and then it will run ok for 5-10 minutes and do the same thing.

Windshield Decisions and ??'s
Got a new 825i and love it. It already has a roof or top on it.
But I need or want a windshield. We ride a lot in the winter, tho our winters are mild compared to some, I still want full protection. And in Arkansas, the summers can be a bit hot.
So I want a windshield that either one half folds down, or pops out for ventilation. What works best for this??
And if I add a windshield, will I then need to an a rear glass, to keep the dust from vortexing into the cab?? It already has a see thru mesh of sorts in the back so hopefully I can add to that if needed...

Wet Air Filter - Help!
Got home after a particularly dusty ride and washed the machine down. No problem. Removed the air filter and it was dusty. Washed it out thoroughly and let it dry overnight. Reinstalled it and it felt dry.
Started it up today (2 days after reinstalling the filter) and it idled fine at 1300 rpm. Put my foot down and it stuttered. Wouldn't go passed 1700 rpm without shaking. Started seeing some smoke coming off the air intake line directly leading to the muffler assembly. Removed the air filter cover box and the filter seemed damp. Pulled the filter and there was a small bit of water at the connection. Very little but some. Smoking stopped after some idling but while it idles fine, it still stutters at 1700 and will stall. No problem starting. Can't think of anything else it could be.
Never been in water. Only a damp air filter. Any help?

CX Gator Discontinued
The local John Deere dealer told us that Deere is discontinuing the small CX Gator, does anyone know if it will be replaced by another new small Gator?
