New Owner/Old Gator
Just got a 2003 6X4 Gator and doing a little work on it. Changed transaxle fluid to get rid of the brake noise and now looking for manuals. The only number I can find is on a tag on the back of the vehicle, W006X4X069999. Looking for a parts and service manual. All direction greatly appreciated.

2003 Curtis Cab Wiper Motor
Troubleshooting a wiper problem and found that the pot metal knurled part is spinning freely on the shaft. Going to try to JB Weld it to get by for the time being. Has anybody found a motor that works other than the one you get from Curtis that is made in France? I am looking at some marine wiper motors that may work. Any Ideas?

New guy with some questions
Hello gentlemen. I recently bought an older model 6x4. Not sure of the exact age I would have to say early 2000. The 2 issues I am having are. The battery light never shuts off. Even after the battery is fully charged. Checked the battery and it is reading fine. Also when I put it into 4 wheel drive the light never turns on. I checked the bulb and that is fine. I am not to mechanically inclined so any help would be great! Thank you for your time.

Tires and rims for 855d S4
Got a new Gator and want to upgrade tires. Current fronts are 2 ply 26x9x12. Rears are 26x11x12.
I would like to have common rims for all 4 wheels...is this possible? I looked at the front and it seems the suspension will not allow for a wider rim??
As far as tires go, I would like to go w a 8 ply tire. Can't afford flats due to my health. Live in northern New Mexico where my ranch has Teflon mud that is slick and sticks to tires , as well as some rocks on the sloping trails.
Any suggestions appreciated

Newbie with couple questions

Wondering how to replace the brakes on my 2004 4x2 . Loud squeal/ grind comes from the back so looking for advice. Also, grinds when shifting to forward or reverse. Is there an adjustment for this?

Issues with battery light and 4 wheel drive.

2011 855d hard start
Hi there fellow Gators,
Very happy to own a Gator after using Bobcats and Toros on construction sites.
Just brought home a 2011 Gator 855d with 3900 hours. It is a hard starting machine with 3 plus cycles of glow plus and gas pedal presses, sometimes 4-5 times.
Once its running and warmed up all is forgiven. No longer a hard start. No power loss, no smoke, just good power and expected speed.
After reading through the technical service manual, it seems the items to check are the fuel shut off solenoid and/or the glow plugs.
Also read from a forum thread to clean out the fuel tank and lines. The filters are all changed and the fuel site glass is clean. It wasnt clean when I bought the machine. yuck.
Any assistance/ideas would be very much appreciated.

Help, 2007 ts rear suspension
Hey all, not much on this forum for us older gator lovers. Looking to lift front and rear of the gator, but the rear drive axle passes through solid a frame/ chassis. Not to mention the engine and transfer case sit on a rigid platform.
New gator has a independent 3 point platform, while gives it rear suspension. For the old gators:
Has anyone cut up the gator to get rear suspension installed? If so, photos or post on process...
Are their any existing aftermarket parts I missed online? Specifically for the rear?

Live in NH, love to go fast. Don't race, but might need to. My equipment is all used on a horse farm, so it's regularlyour worked.
Most recently, on my 2007 gator 4x2 ts decided I wanted more power out of it as well as the desire to add rear suspension. Very limited factory or aftermarket options, all I can do is custom and I it would be a first time fabrication effort and tear down. That's for certain.

Ouch!
Engaged the diff lock rolled 4 feet heard a snap and saw this got a feeling if I removed the cover I would find loose and broken bolts inside similar to another post I saw on here time to put that extended warranty to use.

4X2 Brake replacement question

The brakes are grinding so I want to open up the rear axle. Reading into it I see that the brake disc kit is pretty spendy. Looking for advice on a good market for these if I need them.

Front brake rattle

XUV 550 S4 rear wheels wobble
We got our Gator 15 months ago. It has 630 hours on the machine. We live in the woods and use the machine 95% of the time driving the graded roads around here every day looking for critters/tracks. We do not do any actual 'off-roading'. The rest of the usage is spent on the homestead which is all pasture land. The rear wheels on the machine have begun to wobble. I have pulled them off the machine and remounted to be sure the lugs are secure. Not sure where to look next.

625 GAS XUV - Alternator or Magneto?
Hi all. First post, and please forgive my lack of much knowledge with these ATVs. It's been a learn as I go. I'm retired military, and now a contractor in the Persian Gulf.
We have a 625 GAS XUV in the shop for not charging. I'm trying to find out if it has an alternator or if it uses a magneto type system to charge the battery. I haven't spotted an alternator yet, but did see a HD alternator kit offered on a JD parts site, which is driving me to ask the question. Which does mine have?
