I'm looking into purchasing a curved light bar for my JD 825i s4. Looking for advice and tips as I will be installing it myself and what sizes to look into. I'm even thinking of putting one facing the rear mounted to my roof as well! Thanks in advance for any advice!

New project or to revamp the old?
Hey fellow gator owners. Iv been kinda As yall have seen I put my gator up for sale a little while ago. I have had no luck selling it haha. I am thinking about a new project next year and make mine more trail friendly rather than mud based. What are yalls opinions? Should i keep the gator and make the transformation or buy a new one? If i keep the gator i will keep the suspension the same but change tires and rims. i will have it cleaned up and install new led lights for headlights and taillight. i kind of already have an idea of wat i want todo. just not sure wat the best option is.

1998 6x4 Gator starting issue.
I was driving up somewhat steep hill with no weight in back and the Gator felt like it was losing power and then shut down. After a few attempts I was able to get it started and up another 50 feet to top of hill and it stopped again an now won't start. I just got this from a friend and has very little use and was well maintained. When I got it a couple months ago I changed oil, hydro oil, tightened chain, lubed everything, etc..
I thought this issue may be a dead battery so I put a new one in. It started right up and died seconds later. I started again and it ran maybe 10-15 seconds and died again. Now when I turn the key I hear a "click" but nothing else.
Any suggestions? I did read if not used where it gets "hot" that maybe the sparkplug is fouled. I will check this later when I get home as I have not ran it much and turned it off and on after short distances since I've had it. Thanks for any help.

Electric Gator question from new owner
I just bought a used electric gator and drove it today. My question, when I lift my foot off the drive pedal, the vehicle slows like I 'm hard on the brakes. I could drive the vehicle all day without touching the brake pedal as just lifting off the gas pedal causes it to aggressively slow to a full stop. Do I have a brake engaging or other problem or is it designed to operate like that. It's not a problem unless I have emergency brakes not disengaging which would destroy the battery life

good words for dealer service
Hey guys...been lurking here for about 7 or 8 months...bought my 14 rsx in july. Destroyed my belt two weekends ago and dropped it off at the dealer in Crockett Texas (Fish and Still Equipment) on Monday. They called me Tues afternoon and said it was ready. I was a little skeptical but when I got there to pick it up it was good to go. They even did the pip on the computer. You always hear rants about horrible service, I just wanted to let everyone know that the service dept at this dealer is fast friendly and takes care of the customer.

Winter storage prep
I operate a newish 625I in northern Wisconsin. As a rule winter conditions conclude the UTV season by late November/early December and the machine will sit idle until late March in an enclosed. non-heated shed. Temperatures will routinely go to -25 in Jan/Feb.
The Gator is to me this spring. In the past I have filled with stabilized fuel, removed the battery, checked the antifreeze level and called it good with an older model Kawasaki Mule. Are there any other items I should consider with the Gator.

Hpx bed lift question
Purchased a used bed lift assembly. Just set it up without attaching to bed. the rams don't lift synchronized so I assume I need to top off the hydraulic oil/ bleed. Can anyone tell be the procedure? I see the big screw down near the bottom of the assembly facing behind the gator as mounted and the small hex head about 2/3 the way up the pump. Assuming that's the fill point? I opened that screw and no oil in sight when the rams were retracted. Basically one extends up then the other starts when the first is fully extended. Sometimes they retracted evenly and sometimes they do not. Again, keep in mind haven't connected them to the bed yet so no load.
Also where do you mount the relays on the wire harness? Drill tap into the frame rail?

Electrical issue, fails to start 6x4
I just bought an early 6x4 from my brother. He was tired of fighting with it. It would start and operate for less than an hour and quit. Trying to restart, the fuel pump would not run nor would the cooling fan. After waiting 15-30 minutes the pump would start and you could start the engine.
Now that I have custody, the pump never comes on.
I jumpered from battery to pump and the pump comes on and so does the cooling fan.
I replaced the relay that is mounted below ignighter but that did no good. My brother had replaced the ignition switch but that didn't help.
Ideas?

Snow plow questions/help
I am mulling over the idea of getting a snow plow for my 825i.
I see a number of JD straight blade plows listed for sale. How do you know if the plow fits a 825/625/855 versus 620/850/HPX? Some of the ads indicate compatibility across those groups. However, the JD brochure, indicates different part numbers, not only for the lift frame kit but also the power lift kit.
Is there an easy way to identify the differences? What are the differences?
Any thoughts on using a straight JD blade versus a JD or BOSS V blade. Is a V Blade worth the additional $$?
Any input would be appreciated, as I have never driven a vehicle with a plow?

I have some significant electrical added to my Gator. This winter its going to a conversion/addition so I can carry a stretcher and patient on the passenger side. Its also getting a generator and a roof mount heat/ac unit as well as soft enclosure sides for the patient compartment and plexiglass windows that will fit into the doors and seal the passenger compartment somewhat.
With all the emergency and scene lights it already has, as well as my need to leave that stuff on when the key is turned off I added a second battery up in the tool box area.
Last night I completed the addition by replacing the weak piece of crap lead acid battery.
The mount you see is temporary, I have one of those full cage battery boxes on the way that I will weld in when it gets here. This is just so I can use it for now as i depend on it for my income.
Anyway, thought you guys would get a chuckle out of a Gator RSX with as much battery power and reserve as my Excursion Diesel...

Price Info on Curtis Doors For The Deluxe Cab?
My XUV 825i has the deluxe cab and doors, but there are times when I wish I had some form of operating windows. I just stumbled across the Curtis aluminum doors with sliding windows which attach with the same pins and latch as the Mauser full glass doors. However, I cannot find any price info on them. Rsx 850 primary clutch
I have a primary drive clutch off a 2013 RSX gator. I replaced the clutch under a warranty PIP because the clutch was sticking and not fully releasing. This clutch has only 43 hours on it. I disassembled the clutch and cleaned. The clutch is fully releasing. I think the clutch got a little sticky from not being used. I'm asking $50.00 plus shipping. Please PM me if you are interested.

6x4 diesel primary clutch
I have a primary drive clutch for all 6x4 diesel gators. It is an older part number, AM135102 for sale. The clutch is lightly use but I don't know how many hours are on it.
