Does anyone know if there is a way to re-program the ECU from the factory settings to enhance the performance. I have a 2014 RSX850i SE. The Gator runs good but is not what I had hped for. The performance is underwhelming so far. Before I consider buying an after market controller and exhaust, I would like to know if the ECU can be re-programmed. Any recommendations?

Brake pads
Any aftermarket pads out there for a 625i or 825i? My 625 squeaks so damn bad! Tried all the non squeak stuff on the back of the pads. JD says its an extended life pad (very hard) and there no other option.

I have been given a 1998 Gator 4x2 serial number ending 027815. The wires going to the connector terminal on the ignition switch have been cut at the connector and the switch and connector are missing. I have a new JD connector and switch but need a picture or some help in figuring out what wire connects to what terminal. Anything would be appreciated.

2003 Diesel Gator 6X4 Wiring Issue
Hello. I have a 2003 Diesel Gator, model W006X4D034427. Not starting.
Here's what I've "figured out", but I'm stuck! I've searched a number of forums and gotten some great leads (e.g., cut wires under the seats, etc.) but I'm still stuck.
The YELLOW wire that feeds the RED wire on the Fuel Solenoid/Shutoff is DEAD (SO, when I turn on the ignition switch, the fuel pump does not make the famous "click"), so the Gator will crank and crank, but won't start (no getting fuel).
I did test the YELLOW coming off the ignition switch and it is hot.
I did jump power (from the back of the alternator) to the YELLOW wire (that goes to the connector that goes to the Fuel Solenoid/Shutoff) and the Gator cranked right up.
I did notice that neither the Parking Brake NOR the Glow Plug indicator lights on the dash come on UNLESS I jump power to the YELLOW wire (that goes to the connector that goes to the Fuel Solenoid/Shutoff).
So, where does the YELLOW wire go --- from the Ignition Switch and the connector to the Fuel Solenoid/Shutoff???
I'm not so good with electrical, but I do have a cheap-o DC voltage meter and a light tester...

Connecting accessory to existing elec. power source
I have a 2014 825i and have tried connecting a spray tank to the harness that powers the winch. I can only get power to the tank by holding down the button that operates the winch. This makes sense, but I would like to use this power source because of it's convenient location, and I already purchased the quick connects from Warn. I tried searching the FAQ but can't find a similar thread.

Gator wiring question
Hi Everybody, new to the gator world, formerly had a Kawasaki mule 610, just bought a 2015 825 with Deluxe cab.
I just installed a 30 inch totron led light bar and am having trouble reconnecting the wires to the windshield wiper. Can someone help walk me through where the small plug goes, the two grounds and the two red wires connect to???

Big gun Exo series slip on for RSX 850i
I am selling my big gun Exo series slip on exhaust for a 2012-2015 john Deere gator rsx 850i. This system only has 5 hours on it. The decal has some scuff marks from removing the bed, other than that it is in great shape. Clutch Tuning
If you've read the forum for a while you've probably seen member MBDiagMan offer his clutch tuning services. I took him up on it and sent my clutch to him. I got it back last week and WOW! what a improvement. This is the best a clutch has ever worked. It works better than a "good" clutch fresh from the dealer.
I have not had a single instance yet where the clutch did not open as it should. Previously hot days and getting the clutch hot would cause problems. I gave it every torture I could this weekend and every time I stopped the clutch disengaged perfectly.
A benefit I did not expect is that it shifts more smoothly. I never thought I would be able to feel it but it does noticeably shift/transition more smoothly than before. Previously when accelerating I could feel that the clutch was balking as it up and downshifted. Now it's a continuous, butter smooth progression when accelerating and decelerating.
Aside from the clutch operating properly. It is just more predictable. After driving it a while I know exactly when it's going to engage and disengage. Previously there a range of where I thought it would do something. Now it does it like clockwork at the same rpm every time. It's doubly amazing considering how hot I got it and it still is predictable and reliable.

M-Gator A1 6x4 Diesel Top speed issues
I have a late 90's m-gator with the 3 cyl Yanmar diesel engine. My issue is that the top out speed of this machine is currently 7-10 mph. I cannot figure out where my issue is. I also have a newer mid 2000's M-Gator A1 and its top out speed is 25-30 so I know that i have an issue with the older one. Thanks in advance for any help!!!

RSX Drive Shaft
wondering if anyone has had to change the "bearing with housing" ( p/n AM142552 ) . It's located inside the clutch housing where the drive shaft connects. Was just under mine and seems to be a lot of play in shaft going into clutch housing. I've got 2000 miles on my 2013

New Old Gator project
Hi we help out on a farm and have been dare I say it gifted a 6x4 diesel gator, non running although was running fine before they had a radiator leak.. replaced the radiator 3 years ago and then left it, anything I need to try or check before trying to start... apart from cleaning all electrical connections ... and when in neutral should the rear wheels be able to freewheel if turned.. total newbie to gators and diesels

hi all new here but been at gtt for a while
got on my gator the other day 825 after it had sat outside a few and got rained on big time
went to move it and nothing happened double checked to make sure in gear and floored it but didn't move then barrely moved
something was turning but not the belt

First run
Well finally got to take the RSX on the trails. A friend took the lead as he knows some trails and man did he take some crazy tight stuff. The RSX works amazing on trails even bush whacking. Only had one problem well not really a problem just a concern. After some heavy dusty riding the clutch are made a squeaking noise. Only noticeable in neutral mostly. Couldn't really do anything on the trail and its was working great. After a couple more hours the noise was gone. Just dust? Filters are all in place and ok.
