Help with 6 x 4 Trail Gator Model Year
I acquired a Trail Gator from my father-in-law and I am trying to find out what year it is. The serial number is hard to read. I believe its' W006X4X047291. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kawasaki FD620D Rough Idle In My Trail Gator
My Kawasaki FD620D gas engine in my Trail Gator never idles good. It seems to run better at higher rpms. The engine gallops a lot when idling. I really cannot afford to bring into the John Deere dealer. I have changed the spark plugs and fuel filter. Anyone have suggestions? Thanks!

American Manufacturing Snow Plow
Hey everyone hate having these how to threads. But I bought a snow plow push tube and mount from AM. Great quality equipment. But I cannot figure out for the life of me how to put the mount plate on. Does anyone know where I could find better directions or did this and knows how to that could explain. The directions and the plate just doesn't seem to match. It is for the Rsx.

Heater Question
I have an 825i with a deluxe cab. Is there a heater/defroster kit for these? Ive seen the heater but I would love to find a defroster. When I go thru water its like being in a sauna for a little bit, but the glass really fogs up which is quite annoying. I hung a 12 volt fan to blow against the windshield but it does little.

I just purchased 2013 825i an I was wondering if the power commander is worth the money if I don't buy an aftermarket exhaust cause I enjoy the quiet sound. Also wondering will the stock clutch hold up to this an does it take the speed limiter off of it?

Rear Panel
So i just bought a rear panel for my RSX. Hoping that will cut down the dust in the cab. I took it out during the snow we had here and the snow dust was terrible! Hoping this will help! Now i just need some more snow!

JD Cargo Box Organizer and Cover LP19878 anyone?
Yes, still looking at stuff for the Gator. I have seen rear OPS organizer mounted across inside top but also found this.
From pics there are two large bags plus two water botle like containers. It is supposedly water proof and comes with a pull over cover. I saw one pic showing the bags inside the bed. The price is $99.
Any one have one?

Parking brake question?
First of all does anyone know if the parking brake on the Gator only engages the rear wheels? If so has anyone come up with a mod that will convert it to a hand brake or at least disable the locking mechanism but still allow it to be locked manually somehow? Don't flame me but in the snow I thoroughly enjoy setting up a Gymkhana style course in my backyard and practicing drifting. With snow the Gator slides really well and once you get it sideways keeping it there can easily be done with power. However if you are going straight and want to do a perfect 90 slide or very controlled 180 slide it would help to be able to initiate the rear brakes to get the slide started. I've ridden dirt bikes for years and this is a very common method to start the slide using braking, then keep the slide under power.
So I doubt many others are looking for the same thing but I thought I would ask the question. A handbrake would be ideal without a locking mechanism and a hole you could put a bolt or pin through. But I'm not sure what that would take to do that conversion. On the other hand if I can do something with the brake pedal that would probably work too.

Gator 825I will not stay running/stalls
I have 2010 825I that will not stay running. It starts and as you begin to drive it stalls and shuts down. It will restart but cycle the same way. Each time it shows a wrench on the screen. Where should I start? :mad:

I have a small farm in upstate NY and am considering a Gator an acquaintance has for sale but I don't know the year or model or even value and am looking for some guidance.
It is a diesel it only has 108 hours it has 6 wheels and the back 4 appear to be 4 wheel drive back 4 are connected by a chain the front 2 wheels seem to be freewheeling. It has a power dump the serial number is WOO6x4D0343XX No Cab or pto or other accessories.
It looks in great condition with a winch on the front and clean I do think it has been sitting for a few years but in a garage.
Can anyone shed some light on what it is, year and or value?

$200 camoplast tatou 4s drivers, hubs + brackets
I have a complete conversion set for a john deere Gator for Camoplast Tatou 4S track system. I bought a set of tracks slightly used that were being used with a gator. I then purchased the conversion kit for my Yamaha Rhino, which left me with a complete kit for a Gator. Included is 4 drivers, 4 hubs, all the mounting hardware to attach the tracks to the A Arms.
This kit is over $500 new, and can be much more depending on where u source them from. I am asking $200+shipping for this set.

Have used Gator S/n W06X4HD001974 .Can you advise what year it is and is valves adjustable ?? Rocker arms do not have the normal adjusting screw ? Engine is FH601D-AS05-R:confused:

6 x 4 electrical problem
Have a 1999 6 by 4 diesel. One day it works and then next day does not. I have tracked all wires to make sure no problems there.
When it does not work the dash lights come on real dim. When its running dash lights bright as always. Local john deer shop cant seem to find the problem because it never stays broken long enough.. Till i get it home and down it goes again.
Any suggestions all help wanted
