Hello everyone!
My name is Nick. I will be managing the POWERSPORTSiD vendor account on this forum. Im an avid outdoorsman and off-roading enthusiast myself and Im glad to join your great community! The first UTV I saw and drove was the 2010 John Deere Gator my father bought for his farm when I was in college. Growing up, I was introduced to all kinds of machines early. My dad showed me how to drive a tractor, snowmobile, and then showed how to handle an ATV.
I have always been curious about how things work, which is why I pursued an engineering degree while working part-time as a mechanic in a local shop. Now, when I work as a technical consultant at POWERSPORTSiD.com, I can test-drive our project vehicles to know exactly what the user can do to improve it and enhance its functionality.
In case you missed our vendor section introduction, here are few words about POWERSPORTSiD:

Hi I have a 2012 rsx 850i, I shut it off and about 30 minutes later went to start I, it would just crank but would not start. I am getting fuel, spark, and air. I checked all the fuses. Has anyone else had this issue?

What is the difference between the clutch buttons? Brown vs. Grey? Both are just wear items, are the materials different? Does one wear quicker than the other? I snapped off 2 of the new brown ones while changing them yesterday and since the greys had no wear, I installed the new grey ones in their stead. Just wondering if I need to get a new set ordered and tear it back down right away or just keep an eye on them for wear and change them out for the correct ones down the road when necessary.

Think I'm about to replace my '02 Trail Gator. Local dealer has a demo '19 TS and a TX at a slight discount, so I'm going to go look at them. Think I'm tending towards the TX. JD specs are rather vague, but I found something somewhere which said some of the low-end Gators have Kawasaki engines and some have B&S. I'd prefer to stay with Kawasaki because it served me well in the '02. (Also, have had more than my share of B&S lawn mowers.) Does anybody know if the 15.5 HP V-Twin engine in the TX is Kawasaki?
Also, think I understood the sales guy on the phone saying the TX has a plastic cargo box. Is that true? Maybe he said the TS. Not sure how well a plastic cargo box will hold up. He did say his TX has a spray-in bed liner, so maybe I misunderstood. JD specs just say "Best in class cargo box", which isn't too helpful.

I bought the 2009 850d used about three years ago. Appeared to be in good shape and has served me well for easy lawn chores. But, now hauling wood. From day one, it's had a bit of a saggy ride even empty, seems more saggy on the left side. I notice lately when I am hauling firewood, loaded down, it's close to bottomed out. Of course, depends on how much and how heavy the wood. But wondering if it's 'normal' for a Gator to have a pretty mushy ride and if there is anything one can do about it and if one 'should' do something about it. I can live with it if it would be an expensive fix, lol. I am not where my Gator is or I would look. Is it shocks or springs or both?
This Gator has also always been kind of hard to turn. No biggie for me but curious if it's 'normal.' To make a big, slow turn, you gotta tug on that steering wheel.
Thanks for feedback on what is 'normal' for a Gator's ride.

My new TX has a diff lock symbol on the dash, but the light doesn't work. I had it back at the dealer for something else and asked them to check the light. Turns out, there is no actual light, just the dashboard symbol! Looking at the wiring harness, there doesn't appear to even be a wire for a light. Is that right, or did mine miss a step on the assembly line? I recall that my old TS had a light.

Hi All. New member here from New Jersey. I've got a starting question. My gator sometimes didn't start. It cranks like a mother. My son is a diesel mechanic. He figured it out that the fuel shutoff solenoid wasn't activating. That being, when off the machine, it wouldn't retract when starting. I'd push the plunger in, when I turn the key off, it releases and the plunger pops out. So it's working. Any ideas why it doesn't retract when I turn the key on? This is frustrating since i spent $140 on the new solenoid.

Hello, I have been trying to locate a complete wiring diagram for the XUV 560S4.
I bought the Gator brand new in 2016 and has a little over 100hrs.
I was using the Gator a couple days ago to drag my field and came over to my gate and turned off the Gator, because I needed to do some stuff with my tractor.
It cranked for a second and then would not even crank over, so I had to drag it over to my barn.
So here are a few things that I have tried.
-Checked the fuses, they are good.
-checked the battery make sure it was charged and holding charge and it was, but nothing.
-I hooked up another battery just to try and still nothing.
-I checked the spark plugs and cleaned them off and nothing.
-I tried a screwdriver on the solenoid and barely sparked, but nothing.
Honestly I am stump and do not know what it could be.
I just cannot find any diagram to show me what colors lead to what and any help would be very grateful. I would like to do it myself and not take it to the dealership.

Would love to see info on relocating 855D oil filter in the Yanmar diesel. It’s a pain to get to. Anyone tried it? Thanks!

I will have to take a pic of the 13 place number on the back, Ive seen a general list of these numbers and it lists they were only made in 01 and 02. Liquid cooled v twin (says made in Japan). Powered lift.
