Will the 12 inch JD mags from. 550 fit the RSX850i? I ran across a 550 that had the yellow mags with 12 inch tires and the guy said he might trade for my 12 inch steel wheels. What other Gator wheels will fit the RSX 850i?

Deluxe Cab Seat belt Mod
For us short folks the seat belt in the deluxe cab is too high. I lowered the top connector 3" by simply turning the bracket around that fastened the safety web(removed when I installed the doors) and drilling out the threads to allow the seat belt bolt. Another bolt and nut, and done.

Beware 2017 Gator Caught Fire all by itself
Some of you guys might remember me. I am new and just got my 2017 diesel HPX after almost a month of waiting. Came home today to find smoke coming out of my garage. Make entry to the house which is full of smoke. Make it back to the garage door, open it, due to heat from fire I hit the opener button and ran out. Thankfully the opener still worked and opened my door to find my brand new 23k machine on fire. I didn't touch the dam thing today. I didn't turn the key on, i didnt drive it, i didn't do shit to it except walk by it. Damage to my garage is pretty bad, the gator is destroyed, and I am very lucky my house is still standing. When the garage door opened I had a hose ready and kept the flames down until the FD arrived.
In summary my 2017 gator caught fire all by itself. I used to laugh at shit like this and say how could that happen. I talked to my dealer already and voiced my anger. If this dam thing decided to catch fireduring the night my whole house would have went up and even killed my family.
Again, any other time and my family could have been killed. I am not happy.

gator xuv 550 s4 primary clutch torque specs
I'm doing a straight engine swap on a gator xuv 550 s4.
All has been going well I have the refurbished engine ready to go and I want to reattach the primary clutch. The Clutch is held on by one bolt and I'm wondering what I should torque it down to. I don't have access to a service manual

2012 RSX850i - Clutch grabby/jumpy and ? again
I bought this Gator used a year ago. I've been told it is characteristic of the model to have a jumpy clutch. I tried once to back it up to a trailer to hitch and it was a disaster. When you bring the RPM up enough to move it lurches hard. The best way I've found is to drive it with the brake - bring up the RPM until it grabs, then release the brake to move. I'm sure this is not good for the system long term.
So, I just want to confirm one more time...this is or isn't normal? I'm thinking of getting a trailer dolly to attach to my travel trailer then use the gator to move it forward and back in the driveway for other access...but this isn't going to happen with Sir Jerks a-lot.
If not normal - I've looked at EPI and noted they sell a clutch spring kit. I understand this may reduce some of the shock when the clutch engages.
I also get the hard to get it in and out of gear sometimes and correct that by a quick blip of the throttle then I can move the gear when it gets tough - I've heard this is normal and even read in the owner's manual about that.
By the way, I love the Gator. I recently used it and the winch to haul trees out of the creek. It was amazing...don't know how I would have done that job without it. Just coming to HATE the clutch...oh, and the exhaust that glows freaking red around the O2 sensors after it runs for a while and scares me to park it in the shop until after it has cooled down.

825i Hard starting once warm
First off, I apologize for yet another 825i hard start thread.
Second, hello to all. New guy to the forum here, Phil from Illinois.
I have searched and cannot find the same symptoms so instead of jacking another thread, I will start a new one and hopefully one of you can help me here.
Just got a 2011 825i a couple of weeks ago. Pretty happy with it so far. 700hrs on the machine.
Starting is my issue. First start of the day, it fires right up and idles perfect.
If I run it till it warms up a bit, shut it down, then try to start it again, I have to crank it and give it gas for it to fire off. Idles high at first (to be expected from over fueling for the start) then comes down in the low 900's and purrs.
As for what I have searched, read, and tried...
I do wait for the pump to stop running before trying to start.
I have changed the fuel filter, the pressure regulator, checked the gap and burn on the plugs.
My issue is I have never really worked on anything EFI. I have a farming background so diesels are a piece of cake to me, carborated engines also are no problem... I just don't really know where to go next.
Any advise?
Thanks

I would like to add a winch to my 07 Gator HPX 4x4. I see that Warn and Superwinch are quality brands. I'm guessing that only certain models are compatible with this particular Gator.

Crossbow Holder recommendations
I have a 2016 825i and I'm looking for recommendations on a crossbow holder. The crossbow I have is an Excalibur Micro 335. I have a front hood rack where I could put a holder but I would prefer to attach across the back of the OPS. The logging roads I hunt on are very rough, almost skidder trails, so I need something secure.
Thanks in advance,
Don

6x4 Gator Sluggish or Smothering
I have what I think is about a 1998 model 6x4 with approx. 1080 hrs. I've had it about 8 months and put about 40 hrs on it.
About 2 weeks ago I was driving through my yard and the engine seemed to hiccup. It didn't die or quit, it just seemed to miss once and then seemed ok. However, it wouldn't rev up under load like it did prior. My first guess was trash in the carb or some fuel issue. Now I'm not so sure.
Just sitting in park the engine seems to run fine and rev up normally, though it doesn't seem to be turning the same RPMs as before.
I've pulled one plug and it looks great, new even. The air filter looks new. I removed the carb bowl and it was clean.
The only thing I notice is that there seems to be very little fuel actually flowing through the inline fuel filter. I pulled the hose from the carb though and turned on the ignition and a steady stream seems to be coming through the pump. I've pulled the pickup from the tank and it is not clogged.
My thoughts are to replace the fuel lines in the event there is a crack I'm not seeing, but I don't notice any fuel seeping out. Or the fuel pump. Or is there a possibility the muffler is clogged. Would it cause this type issue?
Thanks!
