Hey,

My 825i is approximately 18 months old, with only 48 hours on it, and the fuel pump has gone out. Anyone had a similar problem, if so is there anything else I need to be aware of?
Thanks for any input....

Hey guys, thought I would show you all our new Belt Temp Gauge.

New belt temperature gauge by Alba Racing. Know when you're overheating your belt. This is a must have item.

*Made in the USA
*Electric stepper motor
*Electric sender
*Easy install

After years of racing experience we at Alba Racing have come up with a cool product to help you keep your belt alive... Belt and clutch housing temperatures can wreak havoc on your belt and what better way to monitor the internal temps than a gauge specifically designed for the CVT system. These gauges are worth their weight in gold if you are eating belts or are concerned about where the limit is.

Mount on your dash and this easy to read gauge will let you know when your are overheating your belt. Heat is a belt killer. These are the standard 2 1/16 gauge. If you race your UTV or ride long distance this is great peace of mind to have. The info this gauge gives you may help you prevent belt failure and extend your belt life.

Introductory price is $125 shipped. California has sales tax...

Attached is a picture of the gauge and a graph to give you an idea of how belt temp effects belt life..

I just purchased my first gator. Brakes seem like they need to be adjusted! But there isn't much thread left. I'm trying to find an operators manual but the previous owner had no idea what year it is. All I have is the serial number and the bed says 4x2.

Could someone help me decode this number?

Thanks in advance! I'm sure ill be a regular on the forum, gator needs some work!

RSX on Silverbacks

I've never been big on Silverback tires, but I found some pretty cheap locally and if all goes according to plan I should have them on tomorrow. I'll post up some pictures then. Anybody running the Silverback? A lot of folks round here run them on the Rangers and seem to have a good bit of power loss.

XUV 550 Tire Pressure

Hello,

Has anyone lowered their tire pressures to get a softer smoother ride?

I have the stock Bighorn tires on the alloy rims and have been running the recommended 14 PSI.

Has any one lowered their pressures for traction or ride? I don't carry any loads, other than the occasional grass clippings, so I am looking for a "Buick" kind of ride. I have also turned the shock preload to the softest settings.

Thanks for your comments

Brought my RSX 850 into the shop due to an issue where the machine spit/spuddered and smoked when in reverse after crossing a 6-12 inch deep water crossing. This quit after the machine dried but would re-occur immediatly after any water crossing.
The dealer found O2 sensor codes in the computer and packed the O2 sensor connections with dielectric grease. When I took the machine home I found that it would set the check engine light again immediately after a water crossing and would then cut out in forward gears - almost as if the engine was de-rating. Sometimes at 47 mph sometimes at 17mph. Once in awhile it would get itself back up to the 56mph speed limiter but only after it was dry.

Dealer replaced the 02 sensor and the machine does not set the check engine light but it still de-rates at various speeds.

Anyone have any ideas?

I have a 2003 4 x 2 gator I use around the property. Can't keep tires filled. Have added tubes, but i suspect I drive over too many thorn bushes. Gator came with Knobby Tires. I have thought about changing. Any help?

"Ridge Runner" Lens Guards.

Hi All. Well it's been awhile since I made up anything for the "Ridge Runner" so a set of Lens Guards were in order. Anyone running those very expensive Hella Driving lights will appreciate knowing that Hella does not sell replacement lens's. These puppies run about $100 each on line, and $150 each if you order them through J D. Now I just flip on the switch, and don't have to remember to stop and, remove the plastic covers! The grills are actually 6" backing racks purchased on sale at Amazon for $3.99 each. 1/4" steel rod, some t-rod connectors, and a few on-hand scraps round out the parts. By using the rod connectors I was able to pick up the existing holes on the brush guard. Another J D cloisonné key ring was used for a badge. Off to the powder coaters, and done! The project was finished at a cost of about $60 including coating. Money well spent to protect $500 to $600 worth of lights! Up next, a fire extinguisher bracket, and also a utility light mount. mountaingoat.
