Hello again all!
The gator I bought does not have a powered dump mechanism and I would like to install one. I did some research and found a few posts ( Link A and Link B and Link C to review what others have done.)
I live in Nova Scotia Canada. Called the dealership and asks for a price on the kit. The 1300$ was a tad of a shock and wife is like not happening. So I figured how hard can it be to add a linear actuator. I did my best to measure the closed mount points and went to princess auto and bought a 4" actuator. Issue is, the housing for the mechanism is too large for the space. *SIGH*
Is there anyone in Canada that has done this themselves and if so, would you mind helping me in tracking down the necessary parts?
Also, does anyone have the technical manual or know where I can get one for working on my gator. It is ridiculous the JD won't sell them to the public. Glad to see the "Right to Service" lawsuit in the states has been won and progressing. Likely won't help us on the smaller gear though.
Thanks in advance for any replies!
