I installed the JD kit and would say if you have a configuration like mine, it isn't plug and play. The instructions do cover how to install with the air cleaner inside or outside. However, having the sound reduction and heater kit installed, forget the bracket. I had to mount it with a cinch tie to the heater coolant lines and have it face forward. The cover had to be cut and bent a bit on the front end so there's clearance for the cap to open.
Second issue is running the lines. The JD instructions say to run a pull wire through the cab channel. I already have the 30A power run to the overhead panel. You won't be able to fish this line in alongside. However, I was able to make it work by putting a pull cable on the existing 30A line, and pull that out. The trick is to then make a tapered feed by staggering the feed lines. I used a 14AWG copper wire as a pull line. I first taped the connectors to the washer to the line and wound tape back past the outer sleeve. Then I added the 30A connectors and then continued to wind tape down and about an inch into the outer sleeve for that. I was able to squeeze it all through.
The brown wire goes to the ground buss. The red wire plugs into the existing wiper switch into the "L" terminal. It's an existing copper spade that doesn't hook to anything, You'll see it through the connector. Just push the connector onto it.
The water line runs through the center console. Follow instructions on marking and drilling the hood for the nozzle. Big thing is not to have it over the radiator cap. The nozzles are adjustable in where they spray by using a small pointed awl to rotate the nozzle balls in their socket. All in all, it works fine.
