Gator 825i to launch sailboat

I haven't been able to find any reliable information on whether this would be a good idea or not. I'm thinking of getting a Gator 825i to launch an 850 lbs sailboat in and out of a lake, and was wondering if the Gator 825i has sufficient weight to avoid any troubles. I will take it in and out each day on a weekend since I keep the boat dry between races.

The trailer weighs another 300 lbs or so, for a combined weight of under 1200 lbs including gear, sails, etc.

The boat ramp is concrete and fairly steep, and I have to take it up and down a paved driveway with one pretty steep section.

I know the Gator has a tow rating of 1500 lbs and assume it will have little trouble pulling the weight, but I'm concerned that it might not be heavy enough to maintain safe traction either going up and down the ramp, or up and down the steep paved part of the hill, particularly if it's wet.

Alternative is I buy an old Jeep and be down with it, but the Gator would actually be more useful for other things around the area.

Anyone do anything like this?
