Hello all. My name is Steve Lawson and I just joined this site a few weeks ago. I really got hooked on the Gator product line, a few years ago. I think it's a great looking product and a very durable product as well.
I am currently working with a company developing the Gator for underground mining. Currently that market seems to be serviced by Kubota RTV900's, but I am hoping to change that. To that end we have just ordered 6 825D units, and we started working on the first two units this week. I will post some pics as we proceed, and what you will see is some super heavy guarding, some major clutch mods, a complete rust proofing program (underground mines are very acidic), metal roof designs etc. We will also be building a 4 seat 825D as currently Deere does not make such a unit but Kubota does. I would definitely be interested in any ideas anyone has relating to durability and longevity, and I will share with all of you anything we come up with during our research and development of the product.
Cheers
