Problem with my TE Gator Electric vehicle. The cable from the positive terminal of the battery pack to the control box was badly burned. I replaced the cable and noted that the cable was warm after running the Gator for a few minutes. After a 15 minute drive, cable was smoking and very hot. I let it cool for about 5 minutes and drove home -- cable was hot but not to the level of smoking as before. Any ideas about the cause?
I should note that recently Gator has occasionally "stalled" -- won't go forward and sort of surges. I have been able to overcome this by either shifting to reverse and then going forward or by just continuing to pump the accelerator until it works. I do not know if these are related.
Thanks.
