Hello,
I am a new member and would like to say hello to everyone. I recently, about 2 months ago, bought a new 2016 XUV 550 in olive green. I bought it basically stock except for the olive green color and the more aggressive tires. Since, I've added a John Deere brand soft top and an aftermarket windshield. The other day I took my friend a ride in it and he said that he smelled the exhaust and after he said that, I noticed it too. I know where the exhaust comes out so it seems like it should keep on going and I shouldn't be able to smell it. So I'm thinking that maybe the windshield has made a difference......maybe creating a difference in pressure and sucking the exhaust back toward the front?????? Have any of you guys had the same problem ???? I will probably take the windshield off when it gets warm again but until then, I don't like smelling the exhaust. Would a back shield behind the seats help ???? Can someone explain the problem????
