Anyone tried this new hard coated 1/2 for the RSX? I ordered this thinking it would be exactly like the one it replaced. It is not. Totally clear and does not have the black border on three sides. It has gray weather strip on each side with shiny cellophane holding it on that is visible from the front. I am guessing this is to be removed so there is nothing between the roll bar and windshield but clamps and Markolan (SP?)? It sits in a small holder with two self tapping screws and fits pretty nice. They increased the price on this as well.
On a side note I am still waiting for the dealer to track down the missing fender screws from the factory that are not in the parts breakdown, and after 8 weeks and about thirty wrong orders, they are removing several from an incoming RSX 860 and intend to make it Deere's problem. Deere could learn a lot from Fiat and New Holland's parts, logistics, and customer service operation. When it comes time for another tractor, I am going to buy another New Holland as I'm not all that impressed so far.
