My 550 has 41 hours on it and has been back to JD for shifting problems. JD did a fine job, put the new clutch kit in it. It was fine for the next 30 hours, now it is really, really hard to shift. I have to shut it off to get it from F to R or back from R to F. I have it stripped down to the bare clutches and belt. It now shifts fine. Am I wrong that the belt should not be turning the tranny when it's in neutral? I have mechanical experience and I love the 550. I am going to FIX this thing and anything I find along the way I will post. Thanks to all who help in advance. Jim
