New to Site 855d major engine issues.

Hi yall new to the site and I am starting with a bang. Have a 2012 855d and the engine has seized up and is out of warranty. I removed clutch and head and it still will not turn over with a breaker bar. I think something has come apart in the bottom end. John deere wants $5400 for just a short block. My question is will any other engine other than the 3tnv70-ajuv fit this application or am I going up creek without a paddle.
