Deluxe light kit question

My HPX has the deluxe light kit and I was wondering if anyone knows why Deere decided to not light the from marker lights? They use a dual filament bulb, but the wiring is not there to power the second filament.

Is there some reasoning for this? Any reason I shouldn't make my front markers lights functional?
