the old '97 6x4 diesel gator is coming along with new battery cables, new start and glow plug module and have new wheels and tires. Still need to address why my brake pedal doesn't stop it but the parking brake works and pulls the brake pedal down, missing cable probably. But here's the big question; the dump bed will go up but not down. I did notice it also spins, probably due to the missing bolt that should go thru the bed and shaft of the ram. The only way I was able to get the ram down was to "spin" it back, like it was threaded but that makes no sense it it's supposed to be attached to the bed. I haven't had time to check the switch in the "down" position to see if it is energized (1 possibility) or maybe the ram motor will not reverse ( 2nd possibility). any ideas would be appreciated, thanks.
