Recently made my first trail ride. Owned the machine for nearly 3 years without stretching her legs, so I'm sure she was glad to get out. Performed flawlessly, except for bottoming out a few times, which is normal for some of the places we went, so looking to give her a lil height adjustment. I've seen some post with info, but they are a couple of years old, so not sure if there are newer options.
Option one is 2" lift kit from SuperATV.
Option 2 is taller tires. Currently running Maxxis Bighorn 28x8-14 on front/28x10-14 on rear. Thinking Maxxis Bighorn 28x9-14 on front and 28x11-14 on rear. All are radials, but the taller tires are 1" wider also. May need 1" spacers to accommodate, not sure yet. Or may do 28x9-14 all around.
Option 3, I can do both lift and tires. Will the taller tires offset the shaft angles and protect it?
Thoughts or history with lifts?
