I have been a regular viewer of this great site, I live in British columbia and have a 2012 xuv 550. it has 200hr on it, took the gator to the dealer, lots of blue smoke, lack of power. I was told the head gaskets need replacing. I would like to tackle this job myself. If anyone here has done this repair before is it something an average backyard mechanic should try or have the dealer do the repair, $1700 seemed a little high. thanks
