New 590 s4

We just bought a 590m s4 a couple weeks ago. Took it out this weekend on the mountain and had some questions. I noticed pulling some hills that I almost ran out of power even in low range. Is this normal? I know it s a little smaller motor but it just seems like it is missing something.

Also this machine free wheels pretty bad. Is this normal. I navigated some pretty steep hills and don’t like having to rely solely on brakes.

Any help or advice would be appreciated!!!
