02 Gator 4x2 Seat Replacement

The seat foam cushion is gone from both seats and they are very uncomfortable to sit in without foam. I am wondering since it seems like this is a very common problem what most people buy or do about this? I see several options on Amazon for $150s for 2 seats but I am worried about quality on the other hand I have a hard time turning over $300 to John Deere for 2 new seats.

I thought about just fiberglassing the plastic flat and skipping the cushions since most of the discomfort comes from the fact the plastic isn't flat. Thoughts? Options?
