A good friend of mine had a 02 4x2 Gator that was under 3-4 feet of water for a couple days recently in the Nebraska floods. We got it dug out and pulled to my house this past weekend. I am trying to help him out and get it back to running shape. Here is my plan of attack:
1] Clean air intake tube and replace air filter
2] Clean carb
3] Drain and refill gas
4] Drain and refill oil
5] Drain and refill transmission oil
After that I was planning on running it for a short period of time and changing the oil / transmission fluids a few more times to make sure it does not have water in it any more.
Looking for any other recommendations or things I should watch out for. Thanks in advance.
