Hey guys. We have an older 6x4 with the Kawasaki FD620, (20hp) engine. We pulled the engine out today, as we thought that it stopped running due to the plastic cam gear was stripped out...we ended up finding a hole in the lower engine case..with lots of broken crap inside.
SO....I am looking for a used one out there, if anyone has one, or knows someone who does? Or a generic engine replacement that is a direct swap out for the most part.
I've contacted a few guys who rebuild them, but WON'T sell you one, unless your old core is usable. Which ours is not.
Anyway, hoping somewhere here might be able to help me out with something.
