Gator 6x4 gas carb issue ( gas from overflow tube, even with new carb)

Hey everyone! New member here, but dealing with a carb(fuel issue) on an older 6x4 gator.

Serial # is W006X4X070655. I recently got the gator and it was running on 1 cylinder(repaired after swapping coils, new plugs, and finding some broke wires at the ignition box).

The problem that is kicking my butt is the carburetor. It started as follows: As soon as you turn the key on and the bowl fills it would flow fuel from the overflow line on the side of the carb. Took it apart several times, with no real answers. After decided the carb passages may be worn I bought a brand new Kawasaki carb for it. I installed that with a new fuel filter, line, and it fit on great and ran GREAT, no more issues, I thought.

After 20 minutes of riding or so, it got to where it didn't want to idle. I thought it may be out of gas(it was low), so I put in a few gallons and raised the bed. It was coming out of the overflow AGAIN! Pulled carb and looked through everything. Very minimal trash in it and float looked new(as it should). Reinstalled it and it ran great, but started leaking again after 5 minutes or so.

Things I've done so far:
-2 carbs, same issue
-Fuel pump comes on with the key, it pulses so I couldn't get a clear fuel pressure reading, but was around 5 or so.
-new fuel filter
-new carb fuel line

What could be my cause and what is the sensor for on the side of the carb? I have it hooked up, but not sure where it goes/does.

Thank you for any and ALL help! I am beyond frustrated with it!
