Adding winch and snow plow to 2008 UTV 850D Gator

Looking for some suggestions on best investment for an older UTV. The UTV has about 1000 hours, garage kept. Looking to buy aftermarket winch, winch receiving assembly and snow blow. Anyone have a similiar experience where you can advise on what aftermarket parts I should invest in? From what I am reading it is best to have a winch rated for atleast 4000 lbs. Is this right?
