Hi everyone, I recently picked up a gator 6x4 for my towns baseball association. They were having some troubles with it and need to get a couple more years out of it so I am doing some general maintenance etc. (oil change, plugs, and filter) One of the issues they are having is the get up and go when they’re dragging the diamonds, doesn’t want to pull. I think a new belt is a good place to start but looking at the primary or drive clutch it seems really wide or like it opens too far and the belt deflection seems extreme to me. I have a Polaris quad that I put a shift kit on so I know how the clutches work it just seems like the belt is extremely loose. The belts looks to be to spec on the secondary or driven clutch and buttons look good. There it also no infamous grinding of gears when shifting. It may be just how the belt is supposed to ride on the primary but I have included pictures to get your opinions. Thanks in advance for the help!
