Upgrade the old or....

Hello all, kind of new here, had an account back in 2010ish but never used it and forgot login info. Anyway, I need some input from new gator owners (825i, 825m) as we are thinking of upgrading to a new model. We currently have a 2004 hpx 4x4, without the ROPS or anything. It has served us very well for the last 15 years without much trouble. The ocassional battery, oil changes and air filters, a water pump, 1 belt, and an ignition module. We have a 25 acre Ranch with livestock nestled in the foothills of the blue ridge mountains in Georgia. It gets cold and rainy during the winter, and we use the gator year round. My grandmother owns the land, And equipment, I take care of the land, and equipment. We tossed the idea around of spending a little money on getting a poly cab and roll cage for it to keep us dry and warm while we load and unload feed, check fences (we get nasty storms) My first question is, are the poly cabs worth it? My other question is, Is it worth spending $3500 on a 15 yo gator with 765 hours on it? It's going to need a new clutch soon, new seats, and belt, valve cover gaskets are leaking too (not a huge deal to fix it just got us wondering). Now, how reliable are the new xuv 825 gators? We got a quote from our local JD dealer for an xuv 825M with a full poly cab, for 21k. Ouch. Just trying to gather some info!
