parking brake on gator 590i

my parking brake broke on my gator 590i. on the top of the mechanical foot pedal is an eye hook (which broke in half) that attaches to the foot pedal at that end of the brake cable. seems like an awful cheap system for something under so much foot pressure. I can find the replacement cable but no where can I find a diagram as to the path of the cable. I see where it goes down and through the firewall but can not find it after that and where and what wheel it goes to. this is a common problem on forums. any help out there?
would be nice to have a park position on gear shift.
