My Name is Ryan, and I have a problem...
Ha ha. I'm addicted to Green and Yellow.
I'm from Alberta, Canada, and I run a 2015 RSX850I. Love it.
I did up grade the tires this year, went from 26's to 27's. Also went and inch wider. Went with the Mud Lite 2's. And I've noticed a big difference. I can stay in 2wd alot more and make it.
Most of our riding is a mixture of sand and muskeg. Either on dry dusty sandy trails. Or buried up to the windshield in swamp and mud.
Most of my group (and others) raz me a fair bit for being the only John Deere in these conditions. The weight and low ground clearance is really my only issue. When I'm stuck the quads cant pull me.
But it's a tough machine and at the end of each ride it's the same comments all the time, "man that thing sure does good for a tractor".
I love my gator.
I'd like to snorkel it and maybe a 2" lift. Has anyone gone that route yet? Pros? Cons?
Anyways looking forward to all the information I can find. And seeing what others do with their gators.
As well as having some questions answered and learn the opinions of others who have tried the mods I'm interested in.
