I have an HPX Trail Gator purchased new in 06. It's been a great machine for plowing our drives, bringing in wood for syrup production and working in the woods during syrup season.
I'm getting ready to replace it with a 2019 XUV 825M. I want to use the John Deere plow that I've had on the trail gator on the new machine, but have been told the hydraulic lift and down setup I have won't work on the new machine. Dealer believes the new units are raised by the winch and isn't sure if you have downward pressure (as I have now) on the new style plow. That may be a deal breaker for me. We're in the snow belt of NE Ohio and if I can't hold the blade down, it's not going to work.
I'd sure appreciate any info on what you folks are using for plows on your newer style XUV gators. Thanks John Allin
