Gator HXP w/no OPS, why?

I am looking at a used HPX diesel gator with no rollbar. They say it is a 2007, were the ones without the OPS older or was it an option?

The air intake hose goes over the valve cover, that must mean it has the smaller diesel?

Any advice would be appreciated
