Hello
Well, I have already posted about receiving my new unit. But, I would like to formally introduce myself, as I plan on being a member of this forum for a very long time.
I am Joe. I live in Burlington Indiana on a beautiful 45 acre tract which we call the Peace Bubble. Hills, ravines, fields, woods and the Wildcat Creek running right thru the middle. My wife was seriously injured in an ATV accident a few years ago and could not do stairs. So we moved out of our log home and into my camping cabin in the woods. Bessie the basset hound goes everywhere with me. i feed the birds and squirells daily. I have touched, petted and held wild deer three times in my life.
I have spent 47 years in the water works and water works supply business. i still work, but not much. I like to spend my time buidding and maintaining trails, riding the xuv day and night. We just gave up traveling in our camper. I sold my Harley last year. I stopoed flying and sold my airplane a couple years ago.I was an avid Porsche owner, and road racer...gave that up a few years ago. Sold my last air cooled Porsche this year. No qualified mechanics are left it seems. I was a member of Air Force Prime Beef for 6 years. I was a crash and rescue firefighter for most of my time. My Kawasaki Mule that was 20years old survived kids and grandkids. It was upside down in the creek three times, rolled over a few more, raced and ran to death by kids. The engine finally let go in July. I bought a new Kubota which went back to the dealer after two months and purchasd my JohnDeere XUV.
I am healthy and I am happy. I would love to hear from you.
Happy Trails. Joe
