Greetings! I am new to GFN and would appreciate some input. I have a 1993-1996 JD Gator gas 6x4. It was sold to me by some longtime friends so I know little about earlier history. I had it tuned and a clutch replaced by a dealership before I put it to work. Had trouble last fall starting after my wife was running it and it ran out of fuel. Replaced fuel pump and was able to get it running. Drove it about a quarter mile to a local gas pump. Filled up the tank and couldn't get it started. Got the usual sound as fuel pump was trying to pull fuel into the system.
Noticed grommet for fuel shutoff was not seated fully into top of fuel tank after checking and replacing several days ago.
So, I replaced the grommet, put in a new fuel filter and replaced all fuel lines from fuel tank to engine.
Can't get fuel o flow through line fuel filter to fuel pump even after sucking some fuel into the line to the filter.
( FOR REFERENCE: Gator has new starter/solenoid and battery)
Can not find a diagram that show any internal parts for the fuel tank other than the fuel shutoff valve and tube that extends into the fuel tank cavity.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
