Hi everyone. I spent time this morning working on my 2005 HPX Diesel Gator. It would die when shifted into F or R. I opened the primary clutch cover and found one of the three weights stuck keeping the clutch fully engaged. I was able to tap it and the clutch sprung back to being disengaged.
Now whenever I give it 3/4 to full throttle the primary clutch will become stuck by one of the weights. Has anyone ever had this happen? Im guessing this could be the sign of a worn clutch. Any solutions besides buying a whole new primary clutch?
