Driving today I had a weird crunch sound from what seamed to be up front. Maybe the belt also since the machine wouldnt move while in high but switching to low and reverse it would move weird. So 2 issues?
The belt is new and I blew out the clutches with compressed air at that time also. Only been driving out on the frozen local river and down snowmobile trails to fishing spot. Nothing crazy.
I will check the belt in a couple days to see if it blew apart like the last one did.
The crunch sounds like I broke some ice in the wheel but that is not the case and it is not consistent. It got me thinking I broke a gear maybe but it is not consistent grinding or banging. Could a axel have broken? It still drives in 4x4 and after messing with it in reverse and low forward than go to high forward to works. I lost high forward for a little bit but came back after messing with the shifter.
Lost = motor rev no move.
