Hey,
Thanks for having me.
I'm on my second Gator. Had a 550 that did great for several years till the brake didn't set one day and it ran down a hill about a hundred yards (unoccupied) vs a large cherry tree. Killed it....the Gator that is. Bought a new 2017 825I with the cab, heater, stereo, dump bed, scraper blade and salt spreader. Gotta tell ya, I had better service out of the 550. For the money, the 825i is a disappointment. Already replaced the drive belt under 100 hrs and was then told to drive it in low unless I was on flat ground. There ain't no flat ground on this end of Virginia. Anyway, the latest issue is the scraper blade I just used the first time with a good snow. The blade frame bottoms out before the blade touches the surface. Spoke to the techs today at the local JD dealer and they didn't have an answer. Reckon will have to load it up (again) and take it in to see what they think the cure is. Any ideas on an adjustment or fix?
Thanks,
Mudd
