The VIN is W006X4D007664, so it appears it's a fairly early model. I thought all the diesel 6x4's had hour meters, but I ran across one that I ended up buying recently that has no hour meter, and it doesn't appear that there ever had been one where they normally go. Anybody know if there were certain years that didn't have them, or if someone just pulled it not wanting to show how many hours it had.
2nd question: It apparently started overheating on him, hence the reason he sold it. I've read through many posts on here and now have a pretty good idea on the things to check. I see it has the old style radiator with the plastic chambers on the top and bottom, and the radiator cap that is on the hose itself near the expansion tank. If I determine the radiator is bad, would I be able to switch to the newer style radiator with the radiator cap directly on it?
