My Gator is an 08 620i. I recently noticed a slight roar coming from the front end. Sounds a lot like a bad bearing. With the machine in neutral and giving it gas, it does not do it. Had the machine on jack stands and all wheel bearings seem fine. It sounds like the noise is coming from the front drive shaft towards the front end. Hard to diagnose because of all the metal flooring. I am sure there is a bearing the shaft fits into and if it turns out bad, how bad of a job is it to replace it? I have had the front axles out and both are good. I greased the front of that front shaft but that made no difference at all. You can reach under the machine and grab the front drive shaft and it seems loose. I really need this machine because deer season starts here in two weeks. Scared to drive it to much until I can find my problem.
