Took my 2012 RSX850i up to Red River, NM and started up Greenie Peak trail. About 9,500 ft it started running terrible. Got it back down to below 9,000 and it ran great. Next day I kept it above 4000 rpm and made it up to 10,200. shut it off for awhile. Then started it up to go back down. I thought we would never make it down. It missed and backfired and ran terrible down to about 9,000 then smoothed out. I called my dealer and he told me about the High Altitude ECU re-flash w/ new payload (ECU re-progamming) and sent me a copy of the John Deere Service Bulletin Solution Number 99054 Dated 11/13/2014. Has anyone had experience with this re-flash? If so, did it really help?
