My 2011 825i is an early production number which means it has zerks fittings in lieu of sealed bushings - 20 to be precise. It's obvious thwe previous owner neglected all things maintenance-related so I've worked my way up to lube time !! I would say half the bushings ooze grease right away on the same side as the zerk meaning nothing is getting thru to the opposite bushing. Took off several zerks and tried poking a thin wire thru only to discover a definite metallic sound about 1 1/2" into what should be about 4" to the other side bushing. There obviously is some sort of passageway thru the bolt to be able to service both bushings from one side !! What am I missing here. Thanks guys. Craig
