6x4 Gator Sluggish or Smothering

I have what I think is about a 1998 model 6x4 with approx. 1080 hrs. I've had it about 8 months and put about 40 hrs on it.

About 2 weeks ago I was driving through my yard and the engine seemed to hiccup. It didn't die or quit, it just seemed to miss once and then seemed ok. However, it wouldn't rev up under load like it did prior. My first guess was trash in the carb or some fuel issue. Now I'm not so sure.

Just sitting in park the engine seems to run fine and rev up normally, though it doesn't seem to be turning the same RPMs as before.

I've pulled one plug and it looks great, new even. The air filter looks new. I removed the carb bowl and it was clean.

The only thing I notice is that there seems to be very little fuel actually flowing through the inline fuel filter. I pulled the hose from the carb though and turned on the ignition and a steady stream seems to be coming through the pump. I've pulled the pickup from the tank and it is not clogged.

My thoughts are to replace the fuel lines in the event there is a crack I'm not seeing, but I don't notice any fuel seeping out. Or the fuel pump. Or is there a possibility the muffler is clogged. Would it cause this type issue?

Thanks!
