So we picked up a 590I S4 to do trail riding in Coos County NH. With over 1000 miles in trails we go out for long 100+ mile rides through the white mountains. It is a real mix of steep rocky hills, hardtop, and old logging trails.
On the rockier parts I occasionally bottom out. The mud is no big deal as it is mainly puddles on top of hard pack logging trails.
I think as I get better with the Gator I can avoid most of the bottom outs they mainly come from me picking the wrong path or going to fast.
That being said the first thing I am going to try is adjusting the shocks.
I have been scouring the internet for a kit but have had no joy and after reading these forums it seems like I have to go to a fabricator. I was thinking about dropping it off for a winter project.
My plan is to add 2inches of lift then find bigger and wider tires to offset the new height.
Has anyone tried lifting the 590i or is there a kit I am not aware of for doing it?
