Fuel gage messed up

Haven't used my machine in a while till last weekend and found that the fuel gage was not reading correct. It read all over the place as I took it for a ride but it mostly read empty. I did take it out and the float moved up and down, it read resistance and thought to myself its under warranty still I'm bringing it in.

Called the dealer and they said their is a write up on this issue. Which is either replace the sender and or instrument cluster with sporadic readings. Glad I still have warranty till the end of the month.
