2014 model 625...a hot ride in summer

During the summer months my machine seems to generate a LOT of engine heat that comes into the cockpit. I operate with a JD glass windshield with a fold up bottom section however I also have a front rack installed with a semi permanent tool box and it is a major hassle to off load that stuff, lower the front rack etc just to raise the lower windshield that then invites all manner of dust into my contact lenses!

Does anyone have a suggestion as to deflecting the engine heat?
