I live in Texas and just bought a 2012 Gator RSX850i with 128 hrs on it. This sounds corney but it really was owned and very gently used and traded in by an 82 year old man who traded it in for a new one with power steering. I have yet to pick it up because it is at a JD dealer in MN...14 hrs away. This one has the poly roof. My question is, How much height does the poly roof add to the total height of the GSX850i? The specs say the height without roof is 73.5 inches. Is that accurate? This one has the stock steel wheels and tires.The height of the door opening on the Featherlite cargo trailer I am trying to buy is 76 inches. I am sure the GSX850i would go in easily without the roof...but will it clear the 76 inches with the roof? If not, how difficult is it to remove the roof? Also, I think I read that the shocks/springs can be adjusted to lower the GSX850I. Is that true? Thanks for your help.
