Hey Guys-
Have a 2008 850D...1600 hours...been running like a champ till a week ago.
Was using it...parked it...went to start again 10 min later...nothing. No dash lights, no power anywhere. Battery checks at 12.75v. I also have 12.75v at one lead to the ignition switch.
Thought it was the ignition switch so went and bought a new one...same thing. I have power to the switch when in the "off position", but when I turn the key to "run", I get nothing. No power either when turned to "crank" position.
Checked the inline fuses from the battery...checked the fuses under the dash on the left side...they all good.
Does this sound like bad relay? I thought maybe the neutral switch but since all power is out, I ruled that out of the equation.
Am I missing an in-line fuse somewhere buried in the frame? The fact that i do have 12v to the ignition switch when in the "off" position tells me the lines from the battery are good.
I'm at a loss. I know how electrical issues can be a crap-shoot, so if you have any insight, please feel free to share.
Thanks
Mike
